About Calne Karate

Calne Karate is a member of the Southern Shotokan Karate Association and practice "Traditional" Shotokan Karate. The club has approximately 25 regular members with a mixed range of abilities from white belt through to black, and caters for everyone from adults to children (CRB approved instructor) and from male to female.

The only things you need to get started are tracksuit bottoms and a tee shirt plus the desire to train. You can train for a short while before joining the SSKA (which provides your suit, access to gradings and insurance etc) so you can be sure the sport is for you before making your commitment. The lessons operate on a "Pay As You Train" basis, i.e. not paying upfront or via direct debit as some do!

We train every Thursday from 7.00pm to 9.00pm (with an optional 8.30pm finish for juniors) at The John Bentley School in Calne. All you need to do is turn up on the night, so

GO ON GIVE IT A GO!
